For the last thirty years, various urban facilities were supplied under the keywords of mass and rapid construction, but most of consumers' demand were ignored. Urban public space where city dwellers were supposed to enjoy the public life through mingling were no exception But people have been demanding for the quality of public spaces. In the urban design districts, there are some kinds of incentives which are given to land owners, when they contributed the parts of their lands to public. In this study, some cases of incentives were investigated to know those characteristics. After investigation of those characteristics, some issues, problems were extracted and some improving guidelines for incentives related to public space making in our cities were suggested.
